The term is finally coming to an end and I have a little room to breathe. I’m not teaching any CS classes next term because it takes too much out of me. I finished the fingers and thumb of my gloves using Galway because that's what was in the stash, probably bought it for felting. Boy were they easy to do. Cast on 5 or 6 stitches on dpns, slide to end and knit like i-cord, increasing in the second round 9-11 stitches, without pulling the strand tight across the back. I had surgery on Monday. It was a parathyroidectomy if you want to look it up. It seems the operation was a success and the patient will live. I've finished DH's handspun camo socks. Yes, one sock is larger than the other one. It's because of the yarn. Lessons learned while spinning: 1. draft, draft, draft. Had to post a picture of the drum carder I got at BSG this year along with the wool I'm currently working with. All of the raw wool I have is Romney.
